Quote of the Day, part XLIV

Me, during Family Home Evening: "How can we repent of 'persecuting your brother'?"
William: "Pick me! I just barely did it!"

Jacob, when I showed him the twin coverlet I had purchased for his bed right before we moved:
"I like that. Whoa, wait! Are we really going to get beds that big?"
Me, thinking that this boy has been sleeping on a camping cot on the floor for entirely too long.
This move didn't come a day too early!

Various Nonsense

Stinks when you scratch an itch with a pen in a dark car only to find when the lights go on that the pen was out! Nice legs, Jake.
For Grandpa Mikkelsen, a true Isaac art connoisseur, as in one who enjoys with discrimination and appreciation of subtleties, here is an old Isaac piece recently pulled from the archives. It is called "The Alien, pen on paper with tape and yarn," created when he was about four years old. (Note: The left foot which can't be seen looks rather like a club foot, and the yarn tail is at least four feet long.)
And for all grandparents near and far, here's a little video of Audrey at 1 month. Sorry, it's a little close so the lense is doing strange things to her nose--she was sitting on my lap.

Charming little mite, isn't she?

Look at that cute little dimple...I just want to kiss it! I can't believe she's already a month old, kinda sad...

Congrats on the associate, I need to call and get the entire run down. If I'm remembering right our last call got short. I need a good dose of Anna right about now :)

Oh Nann, that dimple just melts me little wee heart! You should post a video of her monthly. Or maybe I should send YOU videos of ME to show her, just so she doesn't forget her favorite auntie... I miss all your little mites.
