Quote of the Day, part XLIV

Me, during Family Home Evening: "How can we repent of 'persecuting your brother'?"
William: "Pick me! I just barely did it!"

Jacob, when I showed him the twin coverlet I had purchased for his bed right before we moved:
"I like that. Whoa, wait! Are we really going to get beds that big?"
Me, thinking that this boy has been sleeping on a camping cot on the floor for entirely too long.
This move didn't come a day too early!

Music

Guaranteed to get your toe a'tapping. If you have a moment or two click to hear Danzon No. 2, by Arturo Marquez. My favorite part begins with the short piano solo in the middle and the following couple of minutes. You'll know when you get there. The next musical post is going to be me playing the solos in this piece on tin whistle and piano, oh I do love it so! The story behind the orchestra performing, the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra , is an inspirational one. Check it out.

I LOVED this piece, and the story! I got all emotional reading it. Thanks so much for posting it. I'll be returning to it often. And yes... it is music to make love to...:)
