Quote of the Day, part XLIV

Me, during Family Home Evening: "How can we repent of 'persecuting your brother'?"
William: "Pick me! I just barely did it!"

Jacob, when I showed him the twin coverlet I had purchased for his bed right before we moved:
"I like that. Whoa, wait! Are we really going to get beds that big?"
Me, thinking that this boy has been sleeping on a camping cot on the floor for entirely too long.
This move didn't come a day too early!

Culture?

One question: What exactly did I do wrong?

P. S. For some background info on Isaac's "turkey feet" visit my sister Rivka's blog. There you will have the pleasure of meeting Isfahan the donor, experience a Mikkelsen family holiday, and see what we were all doing whilst our men were away kayak surfing in the tropics.

Michael's moves are a very close second in entertainment value to Jake's rap. I'm glad to see he's learning young!

Just wondering if Jake came up with those lyrics all by himself? That is going to be one to save for future black mailing.

Freaking mad dope skills in the Allen fam. Word to their mutha! Michael's wicky wicky is great too. Wish i knew how to get our music videos on the blog. Our cam corder is weird. We have the mini dvd's and our program for our comp with it sucks! We'll figure it out someday and well we'll have a music video dance off!

I love the "wicky wicky" at the end too. Your family cracks me up. I think I could easily be entertained by your entire family. So come visit me anytime you want...all of you.

It is abundantly clear that the Allen children are secretly viewing Yo MTV Raps!, while you and Michael are sleeping...although perhaps Dr. Allen is encouraging this behavior in order to cultivate a relationship with his boys based on urban music and not teeth!

Clearly he & the boys have a shot in "The Biz."

Someone get Jay-Z on the phone.
